Much to our great delight...the three little ducklings enjoy hiking!! We ventured out on a somewhat strenuous three mile hike up Sierra Blanca mountain. It was a beautiful hike through the woods and up along the tree line. Our halfway spot was a meadow near the summit where we enjoyed a little snack and got to see 8 deer grazing in the fields (sorry - no pictures). We could not have asked for a better hike - beautiful wild flowers growing, excellent weather, and three delightful little girls chirping along the way!

how fun and how beautiful! it almost doesn't seem like texas, especially seeing captain, BSD and MD in a fleece!

ReplyDeleteHi RK - Sorry for the confusion...I went ahead and just posted all the comments :-) This was actually in New Mexico - can you believe it?! We love to escape up to these mountains b/c we actually get to see trees!!!
