Middle Duck's Hospital Visit
So....Middle Duck ended up in the hospital this past week. Praise the Lord she is recovered and OK but she had us all worried for a bit. Basically, she had a GI bug that severely aggitated her small intestine and the best way to fix the problem was to stop all food intake. For 4 days poor Middle Duck couldn't eat but had IV fluids to keep her going. The first 2 days, she didn't even ask to eat but by day 4 she was ready to eat something again!! All in all, I think she rather enjoyed her hospital experience as she got to watch LOTS of movies, do lots of watercolors, put together puzzles, play cards and have sleepovers with her mom&dad. Poor baby! (And, poor parents!) What a scary experience. I'm so glad all is well! Thank you, Jesus!
ReplyDeletewhat an adorably perfect little princess! i heard of her hospital stay and i'm so sorry for your guys' scary experience. poor, poor mid-duck. she looks so frail and itsy-bitsy. so glad she's home!
